Faster, smarter insights from R&D experiments.

Synthace is a no-code automation platform built for life sciences, helping researchers run complex Design-of-Experiments (DoE) simulations with ease. While the platform was technically advanced, its value was often lost on users unfamiliar with DoE. Ahead of a brand refresh, Synthace needed a visual language that could make their technology more intuitive and relatable to scientists in the lab.
Drawing from my background in biomedical sciences, I developed a cohesive set of illustrations tailored for their new website. These visuals reflected real-world applications from DNA assays and molecular biology workflows to protein chromatography and bioprocess optimizations showing how Synthace integrates into everyday lab practice.
Each illustration was built around the company’s refreshed visual language. I integrated layered elements from their signature “pebble” motif into data visualizations, assay environments, and experimental setups to add depth and visual continuity. An isometric approach allowed for flexibility—different components could be rearranged or combined as needed across marketing material.
Collaboration with their scientists was seamless. Early drafts that included ELISA plates, western blots, and DNA ladders immediately resonated with the team and streamlined feedback, leading to fast design iterations.
